If you are in need of any of the services below and you are either in financial, medical, or crisis need, please use this application to request services.
EMERGENCY NUTRITION/CRISIS KITS
These kits are in high need in the Sammamish area and surrounding communities. Funding often goes toward making these available first. These kits have nonperishable items such as vitamin/immune packs, water, nutritious energy bars, and other nonperishable foods that are supported by research to help improve the brain and the body in dealing with crisis, poverty, addiction, mood disorders (depression, anxiety, PTSD, etc), emotional eating, chronic disease, and more. They also contain crisis/sanitary items.
CLINICAL NUTRITION SERVICES
These services are focused on a one on one visit with the person in need and may involve functional blood chemistry analysis to assess for vitamin and mineral deficiencies, diet analysis, biometric/body composition analysis, and medical history assessment to ensure that food and nutrition recommendations are personalized to the person in need. Access to these services for those in need are dependent on the level of funding available.
PUBLIC HEALTH EDUCATION & GUIDANCE
Often, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, Project Thrive will help support existing public health guidance with specific education, seminars, and nutrition guidance booklets to help the community go deeper into understanding and self awareness in order to make best choices personally or for a family, business, or community. The level of ability to provide these services for free depends on active funding and donation to Project Thrive. Funding will help for any research and distribution for seminars and guidance booklets whether it be in person or virtually.
Yoga classes are often offered by Essence Health and Research and those in need will have scholarships to attend these classes for free. Classes may be offered in person or virtually and will be made accessible to those in need, first responders, or other crisis centers on a case by case basis based on funding available.
